Terms of Service:

Paying the invoice for a commissioned piece means you agree to the following terms:✦ Artwork commissioned is for non-commercial use only. It is digital artwork; there is no physical piece or shipping.✦ I do not give refunds for finished pieces. If a piece is unfinished, a partial or total refund is possible, based on the work already done.✦ You retain the rights to any characters or settings which you own - in no way do I gain ownership of your characters through depicting or designing them! You are allowed any non-commercial use of a commissioned piece, such as using it on social media, using it in non-commercial projects, or giving/trading the piece or design to another person. Credit when reposting is appreciated but not required so long as you do not claim authorship of the piece. Credit is required for use of the work in non-commercial projects (such as video games, zines, books, etc).✦ I may add a small signature on your piece. This signature may be removed upon request.✦ I retain copyright ownership of any piece of commissioned artwork. This means I retain the right to post pieces on social media, include them in my portfolio or on my website, or share the creation process of the piece. I will credit you (by name and/or social media username) as the commissioner and owner of any original characters when posting pieces to social media, unless you prefer to remain anonymous.✦ I reserve the right to refuse any commission request for any reason. These reasons include but are not limited to: offensive themes, depictions of underage characters in sexual situations, sexual/erotic content if the commissioner is not over 18.

So how does this work?

Step 1: You contact me! We decide what you want drawn. You tell me what you're looking for in as much or as little detail as you want - I'll ask you questions if I need any more info. You can send me a text description of the piece you'd like and/or visual references of the character, clothing, pose, etc.
I'll do a rough initial sketch for you to approve. Once approved, I'll send you a Paypal invoice and bill - I'll start the rest of the work after a minimum payment of half the bill.
Step 2: I start drawing! I'll send you screenshots throughout the process so that you can give me feedback and make sure everything looks how you want it. I'll run by you (as applicable) the initial sketches, the lineart, the flat colors, and the final rendered colors before I finish the piece (see examples below!).Step 3: Once the piece is completed and you've approved it based on my screenshots, you can finish paying the Paypal bill and I will send the piece to you as a .PNG file. I can send you multiple files if desired, such as different color versions or a version with a transparent background.

Process screenshots of a recent commissionThis is the minimum amount of screenshot I will send for each stage of the commission - I will often send more screenshots to update you on how the piece is going!

Approved initial sketch
Shows the general layout and pose for the piece; payment is only required after this sketch has been approved, and you can decide to refuse the sketch and cancel the commission.

Clean sketch
This clean sketch is approved before I start the lineart; any part of the sketch can be changed.

Lineart
This lineart is approved before I start color work; elements can be changed as requested.

Color process
I'll send you a screenshot of the flat colors for approval, as well as any additional screenshots as I work on rendering or tweak the colors.

Finished piece
When I think the piece is finished, I'll send it to you for approval, sometimes a few different versions with color variations. Changes can still be made until you're happy with the final result.
